When official international representatives and delegations come to DFW, connections, itineraries, and protocol are key factors for a successful visit. That’s where we come in. The Council provides International Services to North Texas to ensure productive, enjoyable encounters that represent our region in the best light and invite investment and business opportunities for increased competitiveness and betterment for all here at home.

International Services: Supporting the Consular Corps of Dallas/Fort Worth and International Delegations.

We serve as the secretariat for the Consular Corps of Dallas/Fort Worth, which consists of seven international consulates and 34 honorary consulates, directing Texans to the appropriate international contacts and encouraging more countries to strengthen their links to North Texas.

The Council arranges meetings with civic and business leaders on international issues, plans public and private events during the visit, and helps host the visitors.

Services include:

  • Official secretariat to the Consular Corps of Dallas/Fort Worth
  • International Services assistance to cities and towns in North Texas region
  • Point of contact with the state and federal governments for diplomatic matters
