Paul Stafford served as a WACDFW director from 2010-2014. He is a and founder of the TAMU Black Former Student Network and the Texas Tech Black Law Students Association. Stafford earned a B.S. in political science from Texas A&M University in 1990 and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the Federal District Court, Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, and is a 2003 German Marshall Fund, and American Marshall Memorial Fellow. He focuses his practice on a variety of litigation matters in the areas of complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and recovery, and white-collar crime. He is a past president of the J.L. Turner Legal Association. His civic activities include the Dallas Bar Foundation and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation
