North Texas Regional President
Truist Financial Corporation

DeVon Lang is the North Texas Regional President for Truist Financial Corporation. In this role he is charged with maintaining a strong regional presence, and act as “chief integrator” in the area to bring the full breadth of Truist to our clients.

DeVon has been in this position since April 2023. He previously served as the Middle Market Banking Leader for North Texas focused on delivering Truist’s universal banking platform to clients throughout North Texas. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director-Energy Corporate Banking in Truist Securities. DeVon joined Truist Securities’ predecessor, BB&T Capital Markets, in 2010 as part of the bank’s national corporate banking expansion effort focused on delivering the firm’s comprehensive suite of capital structure advisory, strategic advisory, financing, risk management.

Mr. Lang earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. In addition to his role with the Council, Mr. Lang is on the boards of the Dallas Regional Chamber and Dallas Stars Owner’s Advisory Council, is a member of Leadership Dallas Class of 2024, and serves on the Dallas Citizens Council.
