David Jacobs was one of the founding partners, chief financial officer, chief compliance officer, and a member of the investment committee of E2M Partners, LLC, a company responsible for the organization, structuring, and management of a series of real estate equity investment funds. Mr. Jacobs retired from EM Partners, LLC on December 31, 2013, and currently acts as an investor, consultant, and business advisor. Mr. Jacobs was one of the founders of Eiger, Inc., a real estate investment company, and prior to Eiger, Inc., he was the chief financial officer of Rosewood Property Company. He, along with a partner, founded Dalcor Financial, Inc., a real estate investment company. Mr. Jacobs began his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., the predecessor firm to KPMG LLP. Mr. Jacobs is a Board member of Blanks Printing & Digital Imaging, Inc., a Dallas-based private company, and a former Board member of Aureus Group, LLC, a senior living services company. He has served on the Board and has been a committee head of the Senior Source, a nonprofit group that provides services to senior citizens, and has served on the Board of PLAN of North Texas, a nonprofit group that provides services to adults living with mental illnesses. Mr. Jacobs serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Brain Health, on the Board of the World Affairs Council of DFW, on the Board of the Brodsky Foundation, on the Board of the Midway Hollow Crime Watch where he serves as Treasurer, and on the Board of Jewish Family Service (JFS). He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He is a member of the Real Estate Council of Dallas and a past president and Board member of the Real Estate Financial Executives Association. Mr. Jacobs holds a BBA degree in Accounting from Baylor University and resides in Dallas with his wife, Cher, a Southern Methodist University graduate who holds a BBA degree in Real Estate.
