At EY, David Dyer is a partner in the Business Tax Services group focused on finding value in tax planning and process efficiency by partnering closely with clients. His areas of expertise include assisting companies with tax compliance, accounting for income taxes, and advisory projects such as accounting methods, partnership modeling, and indirect tax planning. David works in both public and private ownership structures and has 19 years of experience with the firm. David serves as tax account leader for his clients where EY serves as a technical advisor on transactions/planning as well as leading outsourced tax departments. His experience includes planning and optimizing strategic transactions, IRS controversy and representation, financial statement and compliance reporting, and modeling the tax implications of the strategic initiatives of client management. He advises EY teams on tools to increase efficiency on total hours and leverage in compliance engagements. David is the Diversified Staff Group leader for EY’s Gulf Coast region overseeing the performance management of 100+ staff over 13 offices. He also directly oversees the equipping, deploying, and connecting of 50+ staff and interns in the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. David is active in volunteering with his kid’s elementary school and serving at church. He has two children with his wife Tiffany.
