Advisory Board Chair, Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard
Mike Decker is the advisory board chair for the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard. Previously, he was principal at Wingate Partners and served as a board member for S&N Communications and Denbury Resources. He previously served as Chairman of ENSR and S&N and as a board member for National Spirit Group and ICS. Prior to Wingate, Mr. Decker held the post of Chief Operating Officer of the Trammell Crow Company, where he led the restructuring of the largest real estate firm in the United States. He previously was President of Huffco Group, Inc. Mr. Decker was also a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and worked as an Investment Officer for the World Bank. Mr. Decker holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MA from Oxford University, and an AB from Princeton University. He is a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, The Alliance for Medical Research, and is Dallas Chair for the Princeton Aspire Campaign. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing at SMU. He and his wife Debra have three children: Josephine, Emily, and Matthew.
