Mahalet Kefyalew joined the Council in January of 2023. Prior to her role as international services manager, she coordinated public programs as a part of the Council’s Programs department. Mahalet earned her B.A. in international relations from St. Edward’s University. She is currently obtaining a Master’s in global risk from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Mahalet enjoys reading, writing, and being with loved ones.
